Urban Field Biology - Water Ecosystems
A two-week field course (Spring/Summer) at selected field locations in the Toronto area. Students will learn about urban water ecosystems; develop field biology skills (sampling methods and identification); improve their ability to accurately and reflectively characterize field observations; collect data for their own scientific experiment (individually or in small groups); and present their findings during in-class workshops or seminars. Additional fees may apply. Details and consent criteria to be provided by the Department of Chemistry and Biology or other teaching departments.
