Determinants of Health
A course that examines the complex interactions between factors that influence human health. These determinants of health help to explain and predict trends in health for individuals and the community. Determinants explored include income and social status, education, physical environments, genetics, personal health practices, healthy child development, health services, gender and culture. How these determinants impact health locally, nationally and internationally will be examined and the way health is measured will also be explored.
