Global Urban Politics
Cities are sites of innovation, wealth creation, and diversity, but they are also sites of extreme disparity, inequality, and revolution. How does the character of global urban change shape politics, and how does politics shape the character and quality of urban life? This course examines the challenge of urban governance, comparing and contrasting cities in the Global North and South.
