Planning and Design with Diversity

This course will explore issues related to the growing urban diversity, particularly, issues that planners and designers must address in order to create inclusive cities. Through lectures, case studies, and seminars, the course will engage students to understand what diversity means, to whom, and how it plays out in city-building processes. It aims to interrogate the roles of planning and design in achieving inclusive cities that are diverse in a myriad of ways.
