Topics in Indigenous Philosophy
This course will focus on one aspect of Indigenous philosophy originating from Turtle Island. This could include topics such as Indigenous feminism,
ecocriticism and land, Indigenous political philosophy, and many more areas. In addition to these specific topical focuses, students will learn about the beliefs, traditions, and practices of different Indigenous cultures, including Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe, while contextualizing these readings and knowledges within the larger tradition of theory and philosophy.
