Qualitative Nursing Research
The relationships between qualitative research, theory and practice will be informed within a constructivist paradigm. Qualitative methodologies and components of the study design including purpose, data collection, analysis and rigour will be explored. Students will review, critically appraise and synthesize literature to inform implications for practice, education, policy and future research. Approaches to knowledge dissemination will be discussed to highlight research findings and their influence on evidence-based practice.
