Introduction to Robotics
This course provides a brief introduction to the field of Robotics with emphasis on its mechanics. Included will be: a brief review of selected topics from linear algebra, robot geometry, velocity Jacobians, an introduction to theoretical kinematics and dynamics, equations of motion, inertia and compliance analysis, optimization of kinematic redundancy, kinematic and dynamic manipulability, multi-robot coordination, robot calibration, performance testing and characterization, fundamentals of robot programming, robot selection.
