Strategic Human Resources Management
Successful organizations need sound human resources management strategies that are inextricably linked to their organizational strategies. In this course students majoring in Human Resources Management learn to integrate various human resources, organizational behaviour and industrial relations metrics and practices to improve managerial and organizational effectiveness. Specific topics include new and emerging perspectives on motivation, rewards, retention, industrial relations, globalization, restructuring and leadership. A centerpiece of the course is an interactive, human resources management simulation.
