Practicum: Making Little Magazines

Little magazines are non-commercial publications that foster cutting-edge content, give voice to sidelined aesthetic or social movements, and build communities among creators and readers. Students explore little magazines and zines in digital and print form to consider the role they play in the production of literary culture and community in the 21st century. Simultaneously, students discover the publishing process from editorial to design to distribution.
