Practicum: Grammar Principles for Editors
Students develop a strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and the mechanics of writing with the goal of preparing for further studies or careers in copyediting and improving their writing. Students practice parsing sentences, learn language rules, analyze grammatical structure and identify common writing errors through in-class assignments, quizzes, and copyediting exercises. Students also gain background knowledge in the field of copyediting.
