Youth Living on the Edge
This course explores the lives of young people who find themselves living on the edges of the social, political, and economic mainstream, including young people involved in gangs, youth criminal justice, child welfare, psychiatric services, or living on the streets. Through systemic and person-centered lenses the course asks: What can we do to make cities spaces where all youth find belonging and a sense of wellbeing that help to prevent them falling over the edge?
