Strategic Analysis in Uncertain Times
While traditional approaches to strategic analysis are still important, today's organizations must face highly disruptive environments and go beyond traditional approaches and compete in a changing world. Students start by using long-established tools for environmental/industry analysis and the assessment of an organization's resources and capabilities. They learn theories of creative disruption, uncertainty, risk, innovation and entrepreneurial behaviour. They use business models to analyze existing businesses and develop new ones. Students also work in groups in a strategic simulation.
