Advanced Illustration

This upper level studio challenges students to expand their creative potential by developing conceptually based illustration with guided and independent media explorations. Through a series of progressive projects students will build proficiency communicating symbolic and sequential narrative in images and participate in critical discourse around subject matter. A self-directed component allows students to explore various media and pursue their own areas of interest related to figurative illustration. Guest speakers, museum and studio visits may be scheduled.
