Packaging Design

This course is an introduction to the technical, aesthetic, and structural design of packaging for fashion-related products and services. Students will design and prototype using digital technologies such as multi-dimensional scanning, laser cutting and 3D printing. Studio projects are supported by lectures, demonstrations and critiques. Key discussions will highlight the relationships between function and design, materials, technology, sustainability and regulations. Studio format.
