Organic Chemistry
This course is intended for Chemical Engineering students. This is an introduction to organic chemistry, covering bonding in organic molecules, nomenclature, isomerism and stereochemistry, organic acids and bases, and a mechanistic approach to understanding fundamental aliphatic and aromatic reactions. Industrial applications will be noted. The laboratory includes introduction to basic organic chemistry techniques.
