Minor in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Management

The Minor in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Management enables students to focus on the theoretical knowledge and practical competencies required for work in and with the nonprofit sector. The Minor provides the student with an in-depth, interdisciplinary perspective from business and public administration in considering issues critical to this sector.

To receive this Minor, students must complete six (6) courses from the following curriculum:

INP 900 Understanding the Nonprofit Sector
INP 901 Developing Effective Organizations

Plus four (4) of the following:

INP 912 Marketing for Nonprofit Organizations
or  
MKT 100 Principles of Marketing
   
INP 913 Leading Through Change
or  
MHR 650 Management of Change
   
INP 902 Evaluation for Nonprofits
INP 910 Strategic Planning for Nonprofits
INP 911 Advocacy and Gov't Relations: Nonprofits
INP 914 Diversity in Nonprofits
INP 915 Financial Management for Nonprofits
INP 916 Nonprofits on the Global Stage
INP 920 Critical Issues in the Nonprofit Sector
