CMOS Mixed-Mode Circuits and Systems
This course deals with the design of CMOS mixed-mode circuits and systems. Key topics include fundamentals of MOSFETs, noise of MOS devices, single-stage amplifiers, differential amplifiers, voltage comparators, phase-locked loops, delta-sigma analog-to-digital converters (fundamentals of analog-to-digital converters, sampling of band-limited signals, noise bandwidth of amplifiers, under-sampling of broadband noise, switched capacitor networks, first-order/second- order delta-sigma modulators, noise of Nyquist, oversampling, and oversampling delta-sigma analog-to-digital converters),
switching noise, analog and digital grounding.
