Elements of Production I
An examination of the interrelationship between the creative, practical, and business aspects of performing arts production. The course familiarizes performing and production students with the language and process of the collaborative communication that is required between production personnel, directors, choreographers, designers, performing artists, and administrators. It examines the relationships between performing arts personnel, their unions and associations under not-for-profit and for-profit business models.
