Multivariate Analytical Techniques
This course familiarizes students with the most common current methods of multivariate analysis used by geographers. The approach is user-oriented, stressing the type of problem treated by each technique, the ability to run statistical package program, and the knowledge to interpret the results. A course of this nature is essential for translating and understanding professional literature and provides necessary background for the preparation of research papers in the third and fourth year courses.
