Thomas Zhao

Thomas Zhao is a Masters student enrolled in the Masters of Applied Science in Civil Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University. He obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science in 2024 and has worked as a research assistant at the Laboratory of Innovations in Transportation (LiTrans) since 2021. He has worked on numerous projects, mainly involving the applications of virtual reality and augmented reality in the scope of Transportation Engineering experiments. Thomas' current research aims to achieve greater understanding in immigrant preferences for urban services and accessibility by using virtual reality.
