Maliheh Nouri is a PhD candidate in Urban Health at Toronto Metropolitan University. Prior to her PhD, Maliheh worked as an urban designer and planner in various settings in Iran and also taught in higher education settings. As an urban designer and planner, much of her work over the last decade has focused on the quality of Urban/Rural/Park landscapes. In her work at TMU and with Bridging Divides, she explores the mental health impacts of urban landscapes on older immigrants. Her other research interests include place attachment, place identity and urban green spaces.
