Martin Butcher

Martin Butcher is the Research Accounts Coordinator at Bridging Divides, Toronto Metropolitan University. In his three roles, Martin provides analytical and administrative support to the Bridging Divides team and faculty researchers, coordinates and monitors financial processes and administrative activities, and coordinates the recruitment and administrative activities related to the hiring of research support staff. In his new career of Research Administration, Martin brings decades of hands-on expertise in financial controllership, treasury, and research administration.

He has an Master of Business Administration in Fintech from Athabasca University, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Calgary, and is both a Chartered Professional Accountant, and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
