Maggie Perzyna is the Research Operations Manager at Bridging Divides. She holds an LLB from Osgoode Hall and an MA in Immigration & Settlement Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University. Prior to joining Bridging Divides, Maggie was a researcher and the Interim Research Operations Manager at CERC Migration, TMU. As a researcher, Maggie led multiple projects exploring how policies impact the lived experiences of migrants.

When she isn’t thinking about policy, Maggie is working on her second passion: mobilizing knowledge produced in academia beyond the walls of the university. She was the co-lead on Migrant Lives in Pandemic Times, a digital storytelling project that captured the experiences of migrant workers during the pandemic, and is the host of Borders & Belonging, an award-winning podcast that aims to elevate discourse about migration based on academic research.
