Jamel Stambouli is the Élisabeth-Bruyère School of Social Innovation Director and an Associate Professor at Saint Paul University. His actual projects explore diversity and power dynamics within organizations, the development of inclusive institutions, immigrant entrepreneurship, democratic management, and inclusive leadership. In the last five years, his research was funded as principal investigator or co-researcher by Social Sciences and Humanities Research (SSHRC) to explore Muslim Newcomers’ inclusion in the capital Region, by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) to investigate the role of Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) in the social and economic integration of racialized persons in the capital region, and by The Department of National Defence of Canada to explore the development of inclusive leadership within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).

He also has professional experience in the industry and has been a consultant to national and international organizations (e.g., International Organization for Migration). He has also acted as a coach for several social, community, and immigrant entrepreneurs.
