Holly Gardner works at the Ted Rogers School of Management in the Cybersecurity Research Lab. Holly is an experienced leader with demonstrated success working in the innovation ecosystem, entrepreneurship and government administration. She has built significant capacity to advance early stage to growth start-ups across a range of sectors including autonomous vehicle technology, clean tech, and health tech, that leverage emergent technologies including blockchain, quantum computing, 5G, AI, and others. Her research work has focused on approaches to climate change adaptation and resilience, as well as leveraging advanced technology and community participation to inform effective evidence-based decision-making related to large-scale development in remote Indigenous communities in Canada and other global communities. More recently, her studies have explored how technological innovations can address real-world challenges related to climate, health equity, and cybersecurity.
