Etana is a cost efficient device that enables women in developing countries to create a unique identity without having access to the internet or electricity. Storing these women’s unique and private data on an immutable and decentralized ledger, it uses blockchain to create an online ID which entails less bureaucratic costs and prevents data manipulation upon the bias of gender.
