Scott Moody
Lieutenant-Colonel Scott Moody was raised in Scarborough, Ontario and joined the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada (QOR), a Primary Army Reserve Unit located in Toronto, in 1992. During his service he has taken a variety of leadership and specialist courses. He was deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina and to Kandahar, Afghanistan. On his second deployment to Afghanistan, he served as the Project Security Advisor for Dahla Dam Project, one of the Canadian government’s signature development projects in Kandahar.
As a citizen soldier he is currently employed as a Middle School Principal within the Peel District School Board. He currently works at Thomas Street MS in Mississauga.
In 2020 he was appointed as the Commanding Officer of the QOR.
