Colonel John Boileau
Colonel John Boileau served in the Army for 37 years and was an Honorary Colonel for an additional 10 years. He has written 600 articles and 14 books, mostly on military history. John was founding Chair of the Halifax Military Heritage Preservation Society and Chair of the National Council of Honorary Colonels. He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, a Lieutenant-Governor of Nova Scotia Vice-Regal Commendation, and a Commander Canadian Army Commendation.
