We are pleased to announce the university has reached a tentative agreement with OPSEU 596: Unit 2 subject to ratification by the union membership and the Board of Governors.

The university has tabled a very fair and reasonable offer on issues that remain outstanding and remains willing to resume conversations.

CUPE 233 has informed the university that the union will be implementing work to rule, effective today and will initiate a strike as of April 17.
