Hospitality & Tourism Management (BComm (Hons))
Why Hospitality and Tourism Management?
How do we prepare our students to thrive? By paying attention to what industry demands from new graduates. Most major business schools in Canada don’t focus on teaching sales as a core element of their program, even though sales and marketing professionals are among the top five specializations in highest demand. Our new Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program is open to all TRSM students and provides experiential learning opportunities, such as international sales case competitions, to help prepare them for dynamic positions as ethical sales leaders.
At TRSM, we understand that many valuable learning experiences take place outside of the classroom, so we provide opportunities for our students to immerse themselves in hospitality and tourism operations.
As Canada’s oldest School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, we have over 4,500 alumni worldwide leading the way in events, travel, hotels, travel technology, food and beverage operations, attractions and tour distribution. Our legacy of leadership has created unmatched connections with industry professionals, who assist our excellent professors in bringing their courses to life.

Ted Rogers School of Management degree programs
Coming from Hospitality & Tourism Management, I didn’t want to restrict myself to working only in hotels. My co-op placement as a Corporate Banking Analyst is allowing me to build a foundation in finance and use things I’ve learned in my courses on international business law and asset management. One day, I may translate that into the hotel investment industry.
