TMU's Global Learning hub offers many resources for students who are interested in participating in:

The Ontario International Education Opportunity Scholarships (OIEOS) program provides $2,500 to students in financial need who wish to embark on international academic exchanges.

International Student Support (ISS) provides support services for registered international students at TMU, and promotes international awareness to the TMU community.

It is possible to take courses at a different university (in Canada or in a different country) and to have these courses credited towards your degree in ACS. To do this, you must request, in advance, a Letter of Permission from the ACS Program Director. Please email ACSDirector@torontomu.ca for more information.

Each year, students from the Faculty of Arts can apply to participate in the Alternative Spring Break Program, which takes a group of students to a developing country to do community-building and educational outreach work.

Each year, a group of students work together to plan Ryerson’s International Issues Discussion Series, (external link) which brings in distinguished speakers to lecture and leads discussions on various topics. For more information, or to get involved, contact Dr. Arne Kislenko in the History Department.

ACS students can study in Florence, Italy for three university credits. This program offers an opportunity for ACS students to study the Italian Renaissance in Florence, Italy. In addition to studying in Florence, students will also visit Venice, Sienna, and the beautiful hilltop town of Assisi in Umbria. The language of instruction is English.
