Vinita Jajware-Beatty

Vinita Jajware-Beatty is President and Board Chair of the Toronto Insurance Women’s Association and COO of a power and energy company. At TMU, Vinita is involved with the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science Mentorship Program for Women in Engineering. She also volunteers as a panelist and workshop presenter to speak at events, such as the recent George Vari Innovation Conference and the 2019 Diversity Inclusion Now Conference organized by the Diversity Institute. She is also connected to entrepreneurial students in the PowerUp Program, which runs every summer through the Centre for Urban Energy. In the words of one of her mentees, "Vinita took the time to really learn about me and support my goals and encourage my growth!"
