Todd Young

Mechanical and Industrial Engineering ’86

In 2003, Todd Young was part of the original group of alumni and volunteers who created the Ryerson Institute for Aerospace Design and Innovation. His involvement with the program continues to this day. He has sat on the board since RIADI’s inception, helping it to grow, and ensuring its special place in the development of aerospace engineers. As vice-president and general manager at Bombardier, Todd also carries the flag for Ryerson graduates, and ensures students are received during the summer to help make RIADI possible. In addition, Todd has sat on the Dean’s Advisory Board in the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science for over a decade, and helped establish an endowed award from Bombardier for Ryerson engineering students.
