The Honourable David Crombie, OC

The Honourable David Crombie taught in the Public Administration program when this institution was known as Ryerson Polytechnic Institute. He was the first Chancellor of Ryerson, after it became a university, and was conferred the title of Chancellor Emeritus in 2006. David pioneered city building at Ryerson (now named Ryerson), and created a strong legacy of civic engagement that continues to this day.
