Shirley Heard
In 1975, the historic Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing officially became part of what is now the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing at Ryerson. As president of the Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association, Shirley Heard encourages members to donate well loved memorabilia to the Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing collection in the Ryerson Archives and Special Collections, and inspires alumni to support awards for current nursing students.
