Scott Moore

RTA School of Media ’84

In the 1990s, long before there was an official Sport Media program, Scott Moore created and taught the very first “sports broadcasting” elective in the RTA School of Media. In 2011, Scott joined a special Program Advisory Committee to assist in the creation of a brand new Ryerson undergraduate program in Sport Media at The Creative School.

Scott has been the school’s greatest champion and supporter, as a regular guest lecturer, student-industry connector and contributor to the program. He created the Scott Moore Award in Sport Media, and was instrumental in the establishment of the Sportsnet RTA Production Centre at the Mattamy Athletic Centre. Scott is a shining example of successful alumni helping to lift the next generation of students through leadership and volunteerism.
