Ronald D. Besse

Ron Besse is the former chairman, president and CEO of Canada Publishing Corporation. A Toronto Metropolitan University alumnus, Ron has a lifelong association with the university and the business school. He is a former member of the Toronto Metropolitan University Board of Governors, was named a Toronto Metropolitan University Fellow in 1982, and received an Honourary Doctorate of Commerce in 2004.  As the chair of the Invest in Futures Campaign, and the honourary co-chair of the Make Your Mark Campaign Cabinet, Ron has been a key strategic advisor to deans, chairs, and academic leaders, and played an important role in shaping the Ted Rogers School of Management and Toronto Metropolitan University.
