Rodney Yip

Computer Applications Technology ’82

Known as a "connector," Rodney regularly puts his network, ideas and resources to work for Ryerson. He has connected nursing students to internships, mobilized volunteers to showcase Ryerson’s innovations in robotics at the Ontario Science Centre for 75,000 people, donated beehives for Ryerson’s Urban Farm, and planted trees for the Ryerson Grove at Camp Trillium. Rodney also served on the Board of Directors of the Ryerson University Alumni Association where he directed the Lifestages Committee’s work, brought the partners together for Ryerson’s first Family STEM event, and regularly advocated for alumni benefits and representation.
