Paul Vanderpol

Aerospace Engineering ’81, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering ’83

Paul Vanderpol has contributed in many ways to the successes and strengths of the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science. He has twice served as the alumni representative on the Mechanical Engineering Department Chair Search Committee, and he has been a member of the department’s Advisory Board, first in 1987, and for the last 13 years. He is on the Board of the Ryerson Institute for Aerospace Design and Innovation and, prior to the creation of RIADI, he supported thesis projects for 4th-year Aerospace Engineering students. Paul is also an engaging, annual guest lecturer and frequent industry judge of final presentations for the Aircraft Capstone Design Course.
