Nigela Purboo

Nigela Purboo is a founder of the Onyx Initiative, which acts as a catalyst for the professional growth and development of Black Canadians as they launch their careers after university or college. Ryerson is an Educational Partner with Onyx and Nigela approached the university prior to its launch for key insight and data, and to help shape how the initiative conducts outreach to post-secondary institutions across Canada. The Onyx Initiative also offers a customized professional development learning path curated with LinkedIn Learning to several talented Ryerson students through its Onyx Scholars Program.
