Matthew Butko

Hospitality and Tourism Management ’88

Matthew Butko was an active member of the Ryerson Hospitality Alumni Association (RHAA) for nearly three decades, serving as president from1988 until 1993, and again in 2000. Under his leadership — through annual golf tournaments, alumni breakfasts and support for several student bursaries — the RHAA fostered strong relationships between alumni and students of the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Matthew has also been involved with the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Advisory Council.
