Marcelo König Sarkis

An accomplished patent agent with his own firm, Marcelo König Sarkis has given back to the university in a number of ways. He is an active member and former director of the Alumni Association, and a former alumni representative on the Senate. As a patent professional, Marcelo has generously contributed his time to educate students and faculty on intellectual property (IP) issues as well. He has acted as a mentor in both the DMZ and Science Discovery Zone to help entrepreneurs safeguard their IP without sacrificing the forward momentum of their business.
