As an alumna of Spanning the Gaps at the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, Leslie-Ann Valley began volunteering as a Student Ambassador in 2019. With courage and vulnerability, Leslie-Ann has shared her perspective as a racialized mature student, balancing her full-time career and responsibilities as a caregiver. Her mentorship encourages Spanning the Gaps students as she inspires them to identify their purpose and to build the support network required to ensure success. Leslie-Ann is currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work.
