John Honderich has been a generous supporter of multiple initiatives at Ryerson. He received his honorary degree from the university in 2008. In 2009, he was one of the founding members of the Ryerson Image Centre’s Advisory Board, and he has continued to be one of the RIC’s greatest champions for over eight years. In 2012, John also became a member of the Make Your Mark Campaign Cabinet and helped the campaign raise over $200 million for the university. The impact of John’s volunteerism and philanthropic leadership is evident across the campus, including his incredible support for the School of Journalism as well as the Student Learning Centre.
