A graduate of the Master of Fine Arts for Documentary Media and the Certificate in Film Studies, Jermaine has lent his media expertise to the Office of the Vice President, Equity and Community Inclusion and the Black History Awareness Committee for the Viola Desmond Awards and Bursary program over the last decade. His strong work ethic and keen eye for detail has helped the award ceremony become a signature event for Ryerson.  In 2018, Jermaine worked tirelessly to create a visual display featuring Viola Desmond, telling the extraordinary story of her life through images.
