Jan Kestle

Jan Kestle has been a committed member of the Geography & Environmental Studies Advisory Council for more than a decade. Under her leadership, nine awards and scholarships have been created to recognize students in the Geographic Analysis and Master of Spatial Analysis programs. Every year, Jan generously invites graduate students, faculty, and staff to the Environics Analytics annual user conference, offering an incredible opportunity for networking and professional development. In addition, in 2016, Jan hosted the MSA class of 2001 at a reception to celebrate their 15th anniversary. Her passion as an ambassador for the discipline of geography, and her loyal championing of the program’s graduates, make Jan an invaluable member of the Ryerson community.
