Harry Pellow
Architectural Technology ’62
Harry Pellow came back to Ryerson campus in 2011 to help with a small survey. He stayed on afterwards and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Department of Architectural Science. Harry worked with his Class of ‘62 to make a gift in support of the Paul H. Cocker Gallery, and solicited his friends and colleagues to make gifts in honour of Stewart Crawford. The program surpassed its goal and excess funds were used to create endowed awards for Architectural Science students. Late in 2014, Harry volunteered again to lead another renovation project, this time in honour of David E. Handley. His efforts within the private sector helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars which the university matched. This $1 million project completely renovated the top floor of the architecture building. Ryerson is grateful to Harry for helping change the face of the campus. Harry generously gave of his time, his talent and his resources, and he is missed by his many friends on and off campus.
