Dr. Karen Fleming

Physician and division lead at Sunnybrook Family Medicine Obstetrics, Dr. Karen Fleming has been a longtime champion of Ryerson’s Midwifery Education Program. In addition to supervising students during their obstetrics placements, she selflessly gives her time and expertise as a guest teacher and preceptor in midwifery courses. As a member of the program’s advisory committee since 2016, her thoughtful guidance is inspiring the next generation of midwives.
