Dennis McCormac
What stands out about Dennis McCormac is how passionate and candid he is about science. He is engaging, and presents with enthusiasm and humour. He has a genuine interest in supporting and inspiring students, and has played key mentorship roles in many student-led initiatives, including helping build the world’s longest model of a DNA strand. Dennis has volunteered as a mentor, panellist and speaker with the RySci Match mentorship course, served as a judge in the 2017 Chemistry and Biology Challenge, been a panellist for the Science Cafe exploration into GMO Foods, and much more. What students, faculty and staff appreciate about Dennis is his generosity in sharing his time, knowledge and networks.
