Daniel M. MacKay

Distinguished lawyer and intellectual property (IP) agent, Daniel MacKay is a graduate of Ryerson’s Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (FEAS). In addition to bringing engaging professionals as guest speakers to the university, he volunteers as one himself. He lectures on the principles of IP to students in a variety of undergraduate and graduate level courses, including the specialization in Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship, as well as to entrepreneurial technology students in the iBoost Zone. His willingness to mentor young entrepreneurs, and his success promoting the importance of IP to the FEAS community, have been indispensable.
